Free Webinar: "Uplifting Black Fatherhood"

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father figures who make a difference in the lives of Prince George’s County’s children! In the spirit of the season, we wanted to pass along some information about a free webinar sponsored by Quality Care for Children on June 29, 2023, at 12:00 noon:

Uplifting Black Fatherhood: The Impact of

Black Male Involvement in Children From Birth to Five.

An expert group of panelists will discuss how father and male caregiver involvement lead to better health, emotional, academic, social, and behavioral outcomes for children. The webinar aims to spotlight Black fathers and Black male caregivers' critical role in children's early development and well-being, to encourage a more inclusive and supportive childcare environment for families.

The panel will be moderated by my good friend, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity brother, and fellow Morehouse College alum Reynaldo Green, Quality Care for Children’s Vice President of Nutrition and Family Well Being.

You will need to preregister to receive the Zoom link for the webinar.
