Transportation Infrastructure and Economic Development (TIED) Plan

The Capitol Heights­–Addison Road Metro (“CHARM”) regional activity center is a rich area of opportunity. The only area with two Metro stops within walking distance in Prince George’s County, this area could be the County’s first frontier into the walkable, sustainable communities we envision. 
 

GCHIC’s Transportation Infrastructure and Economic Development (TIED) Plan seeks to ensure development in this area meets the needs of the surrounding neighborhoods through thorough research, expert input, and ongoing participation from residents. 

 

As this program continues, we will conduct ongoing research on solutions, assess the needs of local residents, and pursue a plan for a reimagined CHARM gateway.
